Creating Tax Adjustments

Non-cash tax adjustments need to be added manually before generating the posting.

 

To create tax adjustments:

1.Select the Administration area and click Administration > Manage Units > Tax Adjustments.
2.Create a Non-Cash Tax Adjustment for Permanent Differences and one for Temporary Differences using the following format (with the appropriate year): NC_RTP_YYYY_PERM and NC_RTP_YYYY_TEMP. In this example, NC_RTP_2012_PERM and NC_RTP_2012_TEMP are created.

Note: If you do not create non-cash tax adjustments, the posting will fail. See the Handling Errors section for more information.
