Global Identifiers Map

Global Identifiers allow you to select the mapping for the entire workbook. If you have multiple worksheets within a workbook that have the same ONESOURCE Tax Provision identifiers (Dataset, TagLetter, Class, Subclass, and so forth), and the same configuration, you can use the Global Identifier Map to map the identifiers for all worksheets at one time.

To use the Global Identifiers Map:

1.In a workbook, open the worksheet to map the global identifiers.
2.From the Toolbar, click Data Import.
3.Next, click Add Global Identifiers.
4.Click Tax Provision.

global identifier option 9.0

5.The XML Source pane opens with the XML maps in the workbook with the Tax Provision - Global Identity.

Note: Since this is a shared application, the drop-down box includes the Income Tax - Global Identity map.

There are 5 Tax Provision Global Identifiers:

Dataset
UnitCode
Tag Letter
Class
SubClass

global identifier 9.0

6.Map the global identifier elements.

Note: A Global Identifier can be overridden. The application will respect the mapping at the individual worksheet mapping level.
