Manage Attachments

You can support data by attaching documentation files and Active Workpaper files to entries such as book/tax differences, payable, and intercompany transactions.

The manage attachments icon appears after you enter and save data.

1.Double-click the Attmnts icon to attach files.
2.Browse for the File Name and then enter a Description.
3.Click Add. You must complete the Description field; otherwise, the Add option is unavailable to complete the process of adding attachments.
4.Click Close when you have finished adding attachments.

Note: You can attach one or more files within the attachments and comments page.


The user who attached the file along with the date and time are displayed in the attachments and comments screen.
In the data entry screens, when an attachment is added to an adjustment the attachment icon is highlighted in yellow for that adjustment.
When you select the option With Attachments, all documentation files roll over with the dataset.
Active Workpapers files automatically roll over with a dataset.
You will find the list of attachments in the Attachments Review report.
