Pre-Tax Book Income

You can add codes and names for the Pre-Tax Book Income to allow mapping in Local and Reporting.

To manage the Pre-Tax Book Income drop-down:

1.	In "Data Input", select Administration and then Manage Units.

2.	Select Pre-Tax Book Income and then type the Code and Name.

You can add Pre-Tax Book Income in the Manage Units folder of the Administration area. An existing Pre-Tax Book Income name can be modified. Only a Pre-Tax Book Income that has no entry in any dataset can be deleted.

To import a new Pre-Tax Book Income, complete the appropriate fields on the #PTBI# Pre-Tax Book Income sheet in the Import Categories template.

Code and Name

•	The Pre-Tax Book Income code is user-defined and can be any combination of alpha and numeric characters, including spaces, up to 60 characters. The name can be edited after it is created.

•	The Pre-Tax Book Income code and name appear in reports.
