Unit Mapping

You can use the Bridge Unit Mapping to map the legacy unit codes from the general ledger to the ONESOURCE Tax Provision unit codes.

You use Unit Mapping in Manage Bridge within Administration to map these codes. Bridge mappings can be modified and deleted. To import unit code mappings, complete the appropriate fields on the #BUM# Bridge Unit Map sheet in the Import Bridge template. For more information on importing, refer to the Importing Templates documentation.

This screen below is available when the Activate Unit Mapping Screen parameter is activated.

To activate the Manage Bridge Unit Mappings, in Administration, select System and then Manage Configurations. In the Advanced Functionality tab, click Bridge and then select Yes for the Activate Unit Mapping Screen parameter.

Legacy Code

Enter the code for the unit from which you want to bridge mappings.

Unit

Select the unit from the drop-down list to which you want to bridge your mappings.
