In the Local Payable Rollforward page, users can enter items that impact the local current tax payable account. This information is used for two purposes: 1) to collect the cash taxes paid and cash refunds for the given period by jurisdiction for each unit, and 2) to complete the rollforward of the tax payable account, starting with the prior year’s ending balance. The beginning balance of the payable account on the Unit Data Entry page plus or minus any entries entered in the Payable section, plus the current provision amount is equal the ending balance amount.
Enter a separate line item for each local payable:
1. | Select the Fiscal Year. |
3. | Click Add New. A window appears for users to type amounts. |
After a local payable item is created, users can edit or delete the item by clicking the appropriate icon.
1. | Click the pencil icon to edit the entry. |
2. | Select Save or Save and Close after making any changes. |
• | Users can attach files to an individual local payable item on this page. If users have supporting documents, click the paper clip or filing cabinet next to the item. |
• | Users have the ability to add and update notes to a line item. Users click on the notes icon to add notes. |
