Switch

In the Switch tab, users can activate system parameters to add Global Access functionality. To find additional information about a parameter, click on the parameter name and the description appears at the bottom of the page.

The following parameters may be set up in the Switch tab:

The following parameters apply to more than one page throughout the application.  From the Switch drop-down list, select a dataset type and then click Add.

Current/Non-Current Column
Displays new column Corporate Ending Balance
Trial Balance Header
Change the column label name to Local Country Input
Upload PTBI Label

Users may create a switch for the following dataset types.

Q1_actual
Q1_forecast
Q2_actual
Q2_forecast
Q3_actual
Q3_forecast
reporting
retprov
retprovgs
yeprov
yeprovgs (gaap)
yeprov (stat)

 

To add the Current Non-Current Column switch parameter:

1. From the Switch drop-down list select a dataset type and then click Add. For example, users may select yeprov from the list.

2. For the dataset type selected, click the Displays new column Corporate parameter from the drop-down list and then click Add.

3. Click Yes.

 

To add the Displays new column Corporate Ending Balance switch parameter:

1. From the Switch drop-down list select a dataset type and then click Add. For example, users may select yeprov from the list.

2. For the dataset type selected, click the Displays new column Corporate parameter from the drop-down list and then click Add.

3. Click Yes.

 

To add the Trial Balance Header switch parameter:

1. From the Switch drop-down list, select a dataset type and then click Add. For example, users may select yeprov from the list.

2. For the dataset type selected, click the Trial Balance Header parameter from the drop-down list and then click Add.

3. Click Hide or Read Only.

 

To add the Change the column label name to Local Country Input switch parameter:

1. From the Switch drop-down list, select a dataset type and then click Add. For example, users may select yeprov from the list.

2. For the dataset type selected, click the Change the column label name to Local Country Input parameter from the drop-down list and then click Add.

3. Click Yes.

 

To add the Upload PTBI Label switch parameter:

1. From the Switch drop-down list, select a dataset type and then click Add. For example, users may select yeprov from the list.

2. For the dataset type selected, click the Upload PTBI Label parameter from the drop-down list and then click Add.

3. Click Hide or Read Only.
