Administrators can set up Tag letters to help determine how data entry is entered into the application. For example, (M) Manual, (I) Import and so forth. Administrators assign a tag name to a tag letter and that appears in the Tag drop-down list within the data entry screens.
• | Tags are often referred to as source tags or source codes. |
• | Any letter of the alphabet can be assigned a tag description. |
• | The letter A is used by the application for automated settings; therefore, do not assign the letter A for a tag. |
• | Administrators assign a tag name to a letter and that appears in the Tag drop-down list within the data entry screens. |
• | Use tag letters to identify transferred, imported and bridge import data. |
• | Administrators are responsible for creating and maintaining tag letters within Manage Tags in the System folder. |
• | During the scrunch process, you have the option to scrunch data with tags. |
