Parameters in the Global Access tab let administrators set up the Global Access application. The Global Access parameters are located in the Global Access tab in Administration within the System, Manage Configurations folder of the ONESOURCE Tax Provision application. The Administrator may activate additional functionality within the application by selecting the respective parameters. The administrator selects the parameter option to activate it. Only administrators have permission to access the Administration section of the Tax Provision application.

 

To set up the Global Access parameters:

1.In ONESOURCE Tax Provision, select Administration > System >Manage Configurations.and a list of tabs appear.

2.Click the Global Access tab and a secondary set of tabs are available in which to select parameters.

 

To activate the Manage Active Datasets parameter:

•In the General tab, click Yes for Activate Manage Active Datasets.
