Issue:

Unable to view the ONESOURCE menu in Excel.

Resolution 1 of 2:

Follow the steps below to install the .NET Programmability Support feature in Microsoft Excel.

1.Go to Settings | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs. Select Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and click Change.

2. In the Maintenance Mode Options dialog, select Select Add or Remove Features and then click Next.

 

3. In the Custom Setup dialog, select Choose advanced customization of applications and then click Next.

4. In the Advanced Customization dialog, expand Expand Microsoft Office Excel and select .NET Programmability Support.

 

5. In the drop-down list for .NET Programmability Support, click Run from My Computer.

 

 

6. When the system has completed the installation, a message appears. Click Close and then close the Add/Remove Programs dialog.

 

7. Click Update.

 

Resolution 2 of 2:

Enable the ONESOURCE Data Exchange (“InSource Exchange” on prior releases).

1.In the Excel menu, click Help.
2.Click About Microsoft Office Excel.
3.Click Disabled Items.
4.Select ONESOURCE Data Exchange (or “InSource Exchange”) and click Enable.

 

Issue:

Unable to see any elements of a map in the View Source Pane.

Resolution:

ONESOURCE Exchange Add-In requires Microsoft Office Profession. Follow the steps below to view the installed version of Excel.

1.On the Excel menu, click Help.
2.Click About Microsoft Office Excel.
