General
In the General tab, users can activate select parameters to activate additional Global Access functionality. To find additional information about a parameter, click the parameter name and the description appears at the bottom of the page.
The following parameters are configured in the General tab:
Assign Datasets to Users
The parameter gives administrators the ability to assign datasets to a user.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Activate Questionnaire
The parameter activates the Global Access Questionnaire format.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Display User Status Report
The parameter activates the Global Access user status report (Sign-off Summary) so that it appears in reporting.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Activate Manage Active Datasets
The parameter activates the Manage Active Datasets page.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Add Review Levels
The parameter activates the Preparer and up to 8 Review Levels for the Administer Users administration page.
In Add Review Levels, select the Reviewer Level from the drop-down list.
Set Forgot Password Email
The parameter activates the email address in order to complete the To: field of an email when a user clicks the Forgot Password link on the login page.
Enter the email address of the user that will receive the request.
Set Request New Access Email
The parameter activates the email address in order to complete the To: field of an email when a user clicks the Request New Access link on the login page.
Enter the email address of the user that will receive the request.
Enable Filing Group Reports
The parameter activates the filing group reports in Global Access.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Assign (non-interim) Datasets to Users
The parameter assigns the datasets to users (non-interim).
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Display Prior Year Information
The parameter activates the prior year information so that it appears for review purposes.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Hide RTP Columns
The parameter hides the RTP Columns.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.

Add Comments to RTPs
The parameter activates comments section and information may be added on the Return to Provision page. The Column type must be retprov.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Show Unit Details on Questionnaire Report
The parameter activates the Foreign/Domestic classification, Country, and Currency for each unit on the Questionnaire Summary report for Global Access and the Questions report for ONESOURCE Tax Provision.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Show New Questionnaire Layout
The parameter activates the Questionnaire Summary report for Global Access and the Questions report for ONESOURCE Tax Provision. The units appear on the left column, and the questions appear across the top of the report. The answers appear within the grid.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Show Post RTP Button
The parameter activates the Post RTP button so that it appears in Data Entry, Dataset folder.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Post GAAP to STAT RTP Button
The parameter activates the Post GAAP to STAT RTP button so that it appears in Data Entry, Dataset folder.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
Show Legacy Reports for Global Access
The parameter activates the Show Legacy Reports for Global Access.
Select Yes to activate the parameter, and No to deactivate the parameter.
